I found this interesting news. Hmmm. I've always thought of what am I going to do if I have no house to go home to especially when I am not in good terms with my parents.
I've always had a plan in my mind that changes every so often depending on the situation. I already know which things I am going bring and were to go to temporarily. I also know which to do first, whether to look for a job or to look for a house. I also had in mind how much is my budget based on the amount I have saved.
I will immediately call the credit card company and have my billing address changed. I go to this person so I can stay there temporarily. I have it all planned just in case.
Am I being to paranoid? I even have a plan in case there will be a disaster, war or even the end of the world. Sheesss. I think too much.
I would like to reply to an anonymous reader who commented on my post about the china quake. Especially after calling mindless and mediocre.
First of all, you can laugh in our misery and pain and I don't mind at all. We have our own sins to pay. You can do whatever you want as long as you take responsibility for it. It's what we, free people, call democracy.
Second, the world did not begin after you were born. Tibet's history and culture goes way before you. And besides, what we are asking is that you give some damn respect and freedom to the unique culture of Tibet. It's not total independence.
Third, your reaction about separating politics from its people is entirely selfish. You only see the destruction in china. But what about the people who were killed in darfur? Or the Burmese who are suffering? Or the zimbabwe people who are dying of hunger because of the support the Chinese have given to their oppressive governments?
These are all selfishness of your people. The list can go on and on. Unless you change it, you will never truly prosper.
When I first heard the China Earthquake on the news, I was not shocked at all. I felt like it was karma that brought such destruction to their insolent nation. I am a Filipino-Chinese but I am one among the few who are still condemning the tons of sins being committed by the Chinese dictators and imperialist in Beijing.
It was karma for those who crushed the Tibet freedom. And for those who supported the government's evil plan of suppressing the Tibetans who only long for freedom for communism.
It was karma for those who repressed idealisms of freedom of speech and human rights.
It was karma for all the support the Chinese government has given to the evil regimes of Iran, Myanmar, Sudan and even Zimbabwe. The Chinese are the father of all terrorists.
It was karma for all the corruption and bad habits the Chinese brought to this world including bribery, dishonesty and rudeness.
It was karma for all the sins committed by the Chinese to the environment. Their huge emissions of carbon dioxide from their coal power plants. Their bulldozing of mountains and forests.
It was all karma and I applaud Sharon Stone for acknowledging this fact and being so brave.
Anyway, just came back from a 3-day team building session in Tagaytay. I liked the activities and games! I learned a lot about myself and things in life.
I didn't know that the typhoon was wrecking havoc in other areas since I was inside the retreat house for three days. It rained a lot but it wasn't that strong in Tagaytay. We even managed to light a bonfire and make smores. Hehe.

Hmm... They say money makes the world go round. Well, it kinda does. If you think about it, making money after college is what everyone is supposed to do. I liked what the speaker told us before. You'll all have jobs (hopefully). The question is, how long?
I never actually got to this part where I was looking for a job because there was already a job waiting for me after college. I didn't really take the job because I went to medical school. But my batchmates went out to look for jobs.
I guess the reality is, it is really hard to look for a job in our country. They say we have 2.8 million jobless people and 2.8 vacancies in companies. So why are we having such a god damn hard time finding one? Well, because the people doesn't really match the jobs posted. What's worst, they are not qualified.
I think my batchmates are also victims. Victims by a cruel system that crushes those who are small. Anyway, based on a classmate of mine now in professional school, her batchmates from the same course as mine from the Green school got good jobs with great pays. Wow. I guess the red school doesn't really make the cut.
It even amuses me that some people, even after graduating from college, are still living in their own small worlds where everything is nice and happy. Well, I'm sorry to burst their bubbles but they have to return to the real world.
They get cocky on their parents thinking that they can just fly away like that and never look back because they already graduated. They abhor their parents who worked and toiled just to get them through college. Now, they are still leaching from their parents who they hated so much.
I think it tells us one thing. Never get too cocky on people who feeds you. What was I thinking! Why do I even have to bother teaching these people? I will just look like the bad guy.
Well, it tells me one thing too. And I really really have to learn this one. Don't mind other people and just let them fall hard on their asses. Period!
Here's a video I like. Just to change the tone. Hihi.
So... Starting on Monday, I will not blog again until Wednesday. I am currently enrolled in the Blue Medical School and they have this field work where we will go to a province and sleep in foster homes.
I hate that idea! What scares me more is the reason that we have to stay there for so long! Why do we have to stay there for four days when we are just going to observe everything? The blue school likes these things that makes them seem like men of service.
At the orientation, things became bad to worse. First he said that there is no running water. Then, brown outs are frequent. There are a lot of mosquitoes! The roads cannot be used if it rained. God what is it? Hell? Sheess.
I can't believe there is still such a place that is so close to the Metro! I am not saying that I do not like serving these people (kuno). The fact is, our presence there will never, and I mean, NEVER, change their life drastically. Poverty will still be there when we leave.
And it's not like this is new to us. Lumang tugtugin na yan. Poverty is everywhere. So why do we have to be harmed just to do this stupid thing?
"Well my family's role for me is so important because there was, they, they was the one who's very, haha, I'm so sorry my pamily, my family, oh my God ok, I'm so sorry, I told you that I'm so confident, eto, amm, wait, hahaha, sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever and I'm only 17 years old. I did not expect that I came from one of the taf 10 but so, I said dot my family is the most important persons in my life."
-Janina San Miguel Bb. Pilipinas World 2008, winning answer.
At first, I did not laugh at her. I knew she was nervous and all that but that is not the point. The point is there must be something wrong with the selection process for this pageant. She won meaning she is the best. So by this winning answer, this is the best of all? Then how worse could the other answers be?
The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well that's just fabulous.
